A general update of sorts

| June 9th, 2008

I just finished a very very horrible Pols102 test. I am so very glad that it is over. I only have one exam left and it’s on the 21st. I have some space to breath now. Goodie.

Also, Mattias gets back in Chur Chur tonite. That’s awesome like herpes cream.

In celebration of such an event, I decided to write something nice and lovely (I’m writing this on the fly so it’s probably bad but it has the word “penis” in it):

Canada, Denmark, Norway, Russia and the United States are at odds over 1.2 million square kilometers (460,000 square miles) of Arctic seabed which could possibly hold 25% of the world’s oil and gas. The rivalry between the five Arctic neighbors has heated up as melting polar ice makes the region more accessible.

Real life should stop stealing from Prosperity canon.

A lot of that dream has inspired parts of Fogsdown so I guess this picture is Fogsdown research… Speaking of Fogsdown, I have a post of notes that I’m going to publish sometime. Sometime.

It will be an honour to purchase this graphical novella-type publication from my very own local vender of such oddities when it is indeed released for consumption! I say!

Cartoon Corner #1

| May 12th, 2008

The Bots Master – Original run in 1994, 40 episodes produced.

I watched this show occasionally when I was younger. It was one of those shows that was always on before or after what you really wanted to watch so you had to settle with it. Robots are robots though. It was pretty sick to little Peter in the early 90s.

cmeister2 has uploaded what appears to be most of the series to YouTube. Yay.

Pharmacist’s Corner

| May 9th, 2008

Darryl from San Diego, CA writes “I’m a Freshman at UCSD and I want to become a pharmacist. My parents are really trying to push me to become a pro-athlete or a rock star. How do I make them realize that I need to follow my heart and do what I love?”

Well Darryl, this may shock you but I’m going to agree with your parents on this one. “What?” you say? Believe it or not pharmacy isn’t always glamorous, sometimes it’s just you and your mortar and pestle pounding down vicodin on a lonely summer evening. This may also shock a lot of you long time readers, but if I could give up my decorated pharmacy career to become a professional baseball player, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Pharmacy related questions in the comments, please.
